Salesperson Pre-License Course:
The 45 hour (6 1/2 week) Sales Pre-License Course is the most
complete and comprehensive presentation of Professional Real Estate in
the field
today. The text and accompanying books and materials have been especially
designed to interface with the classroom and to prepare you for passing
the Real Estate Salesperson License Examination. The primary purpose
of the course is to offer the best possible instruction and preparation
for
the
state licensing exam. Our passing rate (which is almost double the State
average) and student testimonials attest to the success of the program
over the years.
Therefore, we will re-admit any student free of charge who fails to
pass the Rhode Island Real Estate Exam provided they have purchased
all the required texts and materials and have received a passing grade
in our courses final exam. The course is designed to provide the student
with a basic understanding of concepts, principals and such topics as
contracts, investments, appraisal, brokerage, finance as well as terminology
fundamental to buying, selling or working as an agent. Special emphasis
is placed on real estate math, regular homework, test-taking skills +
RI State Laws.
Rhode Island Law now requires 45 hours of Pre-License Training by an approved Real Estate School before taking the Rhode Island Real Estate Exam. Our school is certified and approved to teach this training and this course qualifies.
Broker's Pre-License Course:
The 16 hour Broker's Pre-License
course is designed to successfully prepare an individual to take the
Rhode Island Real Estate Broker's Examination. The course reviews not
only areas covered in the Salesperson's Examination Course but also areas
included in the test that are specific to real estate brokerage. This
course is approved for 16 hours of "Re-certification Credit." Thereby,
2 objectives are met with one course.
Pre-requisite: Sales license or equivalent.
Investment:
This course is designed to provide students with basic theoretical
and practical knowledge in areas of real estate economics, real estate
finance, basic appraisal methods, investment analysis and current taxation

Appraisals:
This course is designed to provide the student with a basic
understanding of the concepts, principles and theories of Real Estate
Appraising, a working knowledge of appraisal prices, the methodology
used in estimating value and using FMA and FHIMC Forms. Registration

Seminar for Re-certification Credit:
Rhode Island Law requires real estate licensees whose license
was initially granted on or after December 17, 1984 to take eighteen
(18)
hours of approved continuing education every two (2) years. The following
3 hour courses are a few of the courses approved by the Real
Estate Commission; several of our courses are also approved by the
NCBR for local
Realtor credit. Unlicensed individuals are invited: Buyer Brokerage,
Appraisal Basics, Risk Reduction, Landlord-Tenant Law, Intro. to Taxes,
Marketing and Advertising, Understanding the Auction, Wetlands, Condominium

Admission Requirement:
Candidates for admission must attain their 18th birthday
by graduation, be a U.S. Resident and must have completed high school
or have attained a General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
Sponsorship:
RI State Law requires license applicants to be sponsored
by a RI Real Estate Broker. This Agency will sponsor students who are
passing the course without any obligation for permanent employment at
this agency unless mutually agreed.
Job Placement Service:
All graduates are eligible to consult with our staff regarding
job openings with this agency or others and career direction.
Affiliate Program:
Designed for licensees who are not eligible to go into real
estate full time, our group of affiliates meet regularly, and share
in
commissions by referring buyers or sellers, or when they buy or sell
listed properties. All licensed graduates are eligible.
Tuition Free Training:
Students desiring a full-time career in Real Estate can
apply for tuition refunds and free training. To become eligible, please

an interview and an aptitude test, a decision will be made by the School
Director.
